JoinedJoin: We can join any frame for you. When we join the frame, it is sanded and finished after joining. Seamless Corner: We join the frame and putty the seam. This is available in superblack and leaf finishes. Rounded Corner: In addition to seamless, the inside corners of the frame are rounded. Diptych or Triptych: We can make floater frames for multiple canvases all in one frame. Please call for a quote.
Not JoinedLength: Cap moulding may be purchased in length, but usually only by special order. Custom moulding is also available. Please call for price and availability. Floater frame moulding is not available in length but may be ordered "roughcut". Roughcut: Those who prefer to miter their own frames can order them "roughcut". Chop: We cut, you join. We cut with a chopper, not a saw, providing the cleanest cut possible. All frames are cut with a standard 1/8" allowance, unless otherwise specified. Thumbnail: Thumbnails eliminate the need for nails and pre-drilling nail holes in all but our deepest moulding. We rout a groove across the back corners of the frame, you glue each corner and insert a plasic pin called a thumbnail. (Not available in 1100 series) |
